About Connections Business Services

Based in Berkshire providing local businesses from Wokingham, Crowthorne, Sandhurst, Bracknell, Ascot with a flexible administration service, including invoicing, credit control, sales and purchase ledger.

After running a small communications company for over 15 years providing solutions to small and large businesses focussed on an IT infrastructure, Bob McGovern and Jayne Knight formed Connections Business Services a company that supports local businesses with all their administration needs. As no two companies are the same the service that they provide is uniquely structured to provide a bespoke service to suit individual requirements.

Both Bob and Jayne experienced many changes within the industry and have become familiar with the many challenges and numerous pitfalls that a small business can go through, giving them the hands on experience and understanding of the cost effective ways that a business can run.

Jayne left school and trained in banking, from cashiering to the back office which gave her a wide knowledge of financial accounting, she then joined a large hotel franchise working in their south east area office dealing with the purchase ledger of a number of hotels before being promoted to supervisor and responsible for making sure all the suppliers payments for the hotels within the area were paid accurately and on time. After a short break to start a family Jayne returned to banking for a couple of years before joining the communications company dealing with all their financial issues from book-keeping, invoicing, credit control, banking, payroll and liaising with the accountant to produce the year end accounts.
